SEVEN NEW DESTINATIONS IN THE BRUSSELS AIRLINES NETWORK THIS WINTER

This winter, Brussels Airlines is adding seven new destinations to its list of places to fly to. The winter schedule now includes Cheap Brussels airlines flight tickets to Accra (Ghana), Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Zagreb, Bremen, and Billund. Along with the new routes, Brussels Airlines will be increasing the number of flights to several destinations in Africa.

The winter season in the aviation business starts on October 25. Brussels Airlines will run an average of 669 flights a week to European destinations during the winter season, which lasts until March 26. That's 27 more flights than during the 2014-2015 winter. On the long-haul network, there are plans to run an average of 80 flights per week.

This winter, Brussels Airlines will start flying four times a week to Accra, the capital of Ghana, which is one of the African countries with the fastest economic growth. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, flights will leave Brussels in the morning and leave Accra in the evening. Accra is the 12th place in West Africa that Brussels Airlines serves.

This winter, the airline is also increasing the number of flights to West Africa. From Brussels, flights to Lomé, Togo, will now leave four times a week instead of just twice. Flights to Freetown, Sierra Leone, and Monrovia, Liberia, will now take place four times a week instead of two. Cotonou (Benin) and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) will get food three times a week instead of two.

The whole of winter Brussels Airlines will still fly to New York every day. Like last year, there will be no seasonal service to Washington D.C. during the winter. In partnership with United, passengers can book flights to more than 50 cities in the United States.

This year, Brussels Airlines has added six new winter destinations compared to last year. Tenerife and Las Palmas/Gran Canaria, which are in the Canary Islands, will now be served twice a week. This is good news for people who want to go on vacation in the winter sun.

Brussels Airlines is now able to take people to the Algarve in Portugal, where the weather is nice. The airport in Faro, which is a popular place to visit in the summer, will now also be open in the winter. In November, February, and March, there will be direct flights to Faro/Algarve.

And Bremen Brussels Airlines is expanding its network to include an important North German trading centre. Up until now, you couldn't get to the Hanseatic city directly from Brussels. Now, you can fly from Brussels Airport to the Hanseatic city five times a week. After a successful start this summer, Billund is a new winter dish that is served twice a day.

Last but not least, Brussels Airlines is adding six flights a week to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the EU's newest member.

Brussels Airlines moves to the new airport terminal in Kinshasa during the winter. The airline will also open a brand-new Business Class lounge at Kinshasa airport in the beginning of next year. Business Class passengers can expect the lounge to be very comfortable, and they will be able to use tablets for free while they are there.

Brussels Airlines is once again flying to popular ski resorts in Europe, such as Geneva, Turin, Toulouse, Lyon, and Milan. Those who want to ski on less-crowded slopes can fly to Vilnius (Liepkalnis), Riga, Krakow (Zakopane), Malaga (Sierra Nevada ski zone), Zagreb (Medvenica Ski Resort), or Oslo (Oslo Winterpark Tryvann). On Brussels Airlines flights, you can bring your ski gear for free (*except for Check&Go fares and flights to the United States).
