It supports converting common serial ports such as RS232, RS485, and RS422 into TCP/IP data and transmitting them. Since it is two-way transparent transmission, it is natural to convert TCP/IP data into the above several common serial ports.
(3) Support custom heartbeat package
One of the advantages of 4G communication network is to support the terminal equipment to be always online, so a typical dtu is designed to support the always online function. This requires dtu to include power-on autodial and heartbeat packets to keep it permanently online (when there is no data for a long time).
(4) Parameter configuration and permanent storage
In different applications, the IP address, port number, and baud rate of the serial port of the data center are different. This feature allows the dtu terminal device to support parameter configuration, and the configured parameters can be stored permanently,GPRS DTU mainly in internal permanent storage devices, such as common FLASH or EEPROM. After the user turns it on, the dtu will automatically work according to the set parameters.
In addition, such as the dtu function of Pusr, there are also active data collection and reporting, and FOTA upgrade. It can realize the network transmission of data transmission stations.
