A few words about Bluelight.inc

Bluelight.inc is a Free-to-Play blockchain game that challenges users with tasks related to business development and strategic thinking. Players' major goal is to build a virtual startup by completing projects, managing office space and playdecks made up of cards (specialists and buffs).  Based on Take My Muffin 18+ cartoon, Bluelight.inc presents an explosive cocktail of challenging tasks, witty jokes and fancy graphics.

At the moment, the project is at Open Beta stage, so everyone can join without making upfront investments. Now Bluelight.inc is being listed on Epic Games Store – a crucial step on the way to massive adoption. This listing will provide a popularity boost by allowing thousands of WEB 2.0 and WEB 3.0 players to discover it and igniting interest in this unique startup-themed card game.

Since Bluelight.inc is a Free-to-Play game, your team starts in a free coworking space – you don’t have to make initial investments and buy an office for your future unicorn to begin functioning. This is Tycoon mode where you will manage your employees with their working places, and communicate with San Crypto down the road.

So, you have a few office rooms at your disposal and may equip them with furniture the way you want. There’s no need to wreck your brains over the location of working desks, coffee machines and other stuff – in the Open Beta version, furniture layout is not reflected in the Collectible Card mode. Aside from the basic furniture set you can purchase more items in the Shop to adorn your working space.

Manage your playdecks

Now, take a look at the menu at the bottom and click on the ‘Playdeck’ icon. You will see the list of your playdecks that can be customized (to do it, click the ‘Pencil’ icon). If you have unused cards at your disposal, they will be displayed on the field. Click on a card to add it to the playdeck.

Why does playdeck composition matter? As you progress through the game, you will have to deal with projects that require completion of specific tasks – development, engineering, design, and so on. That supposes you will need corresponding characters and managers in your deck. With the right set on hand, you stand a higher chance of successfully dealing with a project.

Complete projects

The Collectible Card mode challenges the player with completion of projects. The number on the Calendar icon shows how many days (turns) you’ve got to complete tasks (engineering, design, etc. – you will see requirements on the project card). Once you click on a chosen project, you will see the reward and experience points granted for its completion.

Each kind of task requires corresponding specialists (engineers, designers) and managers who buff them (increase productivity). You need to place your card on the field – note that allocation of each card costs you Action points (they are reflected on the right side of the screen) the number of which is restored every day.

Please, note that completion of projects takes energy points (for example, in the beginning, you will spend 5 points on each project you take). Every day, you have 100 energy points that are refilled automatically.

Upgrade your staff

As you progress through the game, the complexity of projects grows, so you need your employees to be more productive and solve more tasks every day. They get experience when you successfully deal with projects, but if you want to boost their characteristics, you need to upgrade their level – it costs BUX.

By clicking on a card, you can observe its characteristics:

  • Level.

  • Rarity.

  • Profession (kind of tasks that a character solves).

  • Lifetime (how many days a card stays active on the playing field).

  • Cost (Action points required to place the card on the playing field).

  • Production (how many tasks are solved in one day).

When the experience line scale gets full, a character automatically levels up.

Pro tips

So, how to make a successful debut in Bluelight.inc? Here are a few recommendations:

  • Always allocate a part of your budget on character upgrading because projects get more and more complicated and require an increasing number of tasks to solve.

  • Don’t forget to customize playdecks depending on the types of projects currently available. Note that they may require several kinds of tasks simultaneously (for example, engineering and design).

  • You will get buff and character cards for completion of some projects. Make sure that you don’t overload your playdeck with a certain type of cards because they are given randomly at each turn and you risk having useless cards on hand.

Early birds get most of it

Why do we recommend joining Open Beta right now? Early members can get maximum perks and profits. First, everyone playing Bluelight.inc within the 1st week of Open Beta release will have 30,000 $KALE airdropped on their Metamask wallet (testnet). Secondly, those who play Open Beta Season 00 (from November 1st to December 1st) can automatically get into the leaderboard and receive rewards. For example, $KALE prizes will be given to those who delivered the highest project KPIs, won the largest number of projects, or had the largest amount of playing days (total or in a row).

This is it. Now you are ready to start your exciting virtual startup building journey! Click here and have fun.
