Long-Delayed Minecraft Amiibo will be Available In September - IGN

Nearly two years after Minecraft's Steve joined the DLC roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate His (and Alex's) amiibo will finally be available for purchase on September 9.



Nintendo announced the release date of Minecraft's amiibo through Twitter. The tweet was accompanied by a short video that showed fans a look at the final designs for the Steve and Alex amiibo. The designs are faithful to the original blocky designs.



Although initially scheduled for a spring 2022 release of the amiibos, Alex Steve and Alex Steve were delayed until 2022 because of delays in production and logistics.
