Minecraft Redstone Devices are now A Real Thing

2 min read

In the past, people have attempted making Minecraft things in real life such as building replicas of a piston from Lego. It's impossible to recreate redstone, the magic material that can be used for almost anything, and create devices and gadgets with it. Or is it?

A Redditor dubbed Hecbac has been building these devices for more than two years now and has produced some amazing things as the result. While dispensers were their initial work, they later made the redstone systems modular. This allows it to function the same way as it does in the game.

Hecbac's latest blog post showcases a complete, working circuit, a device that stops a very cute sheep, and activates the block, as well as some astonishingly powerful pistons. The video's final segment also shows a variety of blocks from previous videos, but we're sure the TNT is a standard block. It's quite impressive particularly considering that Hecbac does this in their free time.

Heblac's modular structures could easily be made into a variety of toys. However they have stated that it's difficult to make money from them. At present, we'll just be able to stare with awe at these Minecraft redstone creations and marvel as they become more complex and impressive. The skill and creativity of the Minecraft community never ceases to amaze.

Spellcraft is a brand new adventure that adds new enemies and a spell-system was released yesterday. It's even better: it's completely free.
