Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away after an extended battle with stage 4 cancer the family of Technoblade announced in a statement and a video.
Techno has previously revealed that he had been diagnosed as having cancer in August. He has been updating his followers regularly on his diagnosis, and is continuing to receive treatment and creating content on YouTube.
Techno's father, Techno, narrates a final posthumous message titled "so long geeks" that was written for the occasion. It was filled to the brim with the creator's signature dark and sometimes humorous humor, but also acts as one final 'thank you' to everyone who supported the Minecraft star over the years.
"Thank you for your support of my work over the years. Pubg qa If I had another 100 years of life I'm pretty sure I'd choose to be Technoblade again every single time. Techno declared that they were the most joyful years of my life.
"I hope you enjoyed my writing and that it made you smile. I hope you all go on to live long, prosperous, and happy lives because I love you guys. Technoblade out
In his message Techno who reveals that his real name as Alex, talks about how the proceeds from merch and other "sell-out" pushes over the last year is being used to send his siblings to college, if they want to go. He also talks about thanking his audience for giving him such happy moments. All while slideshows of images that depict him throughout different phases of his treatment are displayed on the screen.
His father, who was present for Techno's final message, explains how he originally intended to make and write the message prior to his death. However, Techno's declining health and other issues made it impossible for him to do so. His father said that he wrote the message in the hospital and passed away around eight hours later.
Technoblade's father claimed that he was "the most wonderful child anyone could ever hope for." Technoblade is my best friend. Thank you to all of you for everything.
